If you were Tally, would you ask the Warden to make you pretty?
I would because it would be for the best so that Maddy could test the cure and cure Shay.

Blog Post #51 Confessions
Tally has finally come clean. Do you think she will regret it? Do you think David will change his mind about her?
I think she will regret it because because of her, Shay became pretty and Az died. I don't think that David will change his mind because he will understand that she accidentally set off the pendant.

Blog Post #50 Hippocratic Oath
Should Maddy have forced Shay to take the cure? Why or why not?
She shouldn't because if she did, there was that oooone percent chance that the cure would leave her as a vegetable and that is still too big of a chance.

Blog Post #49 Night Alone
If you were Shay, would you get the cure? Why or why not?
I would get the cure. I would get it because I would want my old, good friends to like me and not think of me as a mindless pretty, or a mean person.

Respond to the following quote from the chapter... what does it mean to you?
"Tally though of the lesions on Shay's brain, the tiny cancers or wounds or whatever they are that she didn't even know she had. They were in there somewhere changing her friend's thoughts, warping her feelings, gnawing at the roots of who she was."
This quote means to me that Tally is guilty for betraying Shay because now they put a lesion on her brain and she is a mindless pretty now.

Blow Post #46 Inside
Is this quote a play on words, or does it have a deeper meaning to the story? "Radiologhy. Neurology. Magnetic Imaging,"she read softly. "Operating Theatre Two."
It has a deeper meaning because the operating theatre is the place where they make Uglies pretty.
What labels do Tally and David find in the Special Circumstances building? Give a brief description of what you think each means.
Describe Shay's appearnce at the end of the chapter using textual evidence.
"She was tall and elgant, every feature perfection. Her eye - deep and soulful, flecked with copper and gold - widened with a troubled look."
